US: Prescribed Burning Starts in Lake Havasu, Sending Massive Smoke

Massive smoke was seen on the horizon north of Lake Havasu City on Monday, January 19, as prescribed burning started at Lake Havasu National Wildlife Refuge near Topock. Access to burn areas is being restricted during active operations for public safety.
